Located in Satthahip, Chonburi, this beach is a great white sand with some clear blue water. It’s located about 20 minutes south of Pattaya, near the airport. It’s part of the land belonging to the Thai navy and requires passing through a checkpoint to get to the beach. It used to be off limits to non Thai citizens but now you are able to visit until 6 PM if you are accompanied by a Thai.
The West part of the beach has food, beach chairs, lodging and other amenities. About 400 meters is used and restricted access to the eastern part of the beach. With this it gets a little busy during weekends and holidays but still very pleasant. It is relatively unknown to tourists and a much better beach compared to Pattaya or some of the more famous beaches in the area.
