Thonburi era temple in Nonthaburi Thailand

Wat Ko Phaya Cheng วัดเกาะพญาเจ่ง also known as Koh Praya Jeng is a beautiful Buddhist temple located next to the Chao Phraya River in Nonthaburi, north of Bangkok.

This temple was built in the 16th century during the reign of King Taksin.

Nonthaburi once served as a fortress town, but now it is a popular weekend destination where local tourists can unwind and discover Ayutthaya era history.

Wat Koh Phaya Cheng, also known as Wat Bang Phut. During Thonburi period, Chao Phraya Maha Yotha (Tauria) dedicated this land to the construction of a temple. Its ubosot houses a reclining Buddha statue in a cremation posture and a Rattanakosin style principal Buddha statue.

During the reign of King Rama III, the murals were restored to represent 28 Lord Buddhas, angels listening to sermons, mythological Annonta fish swimming around Mount Meru, and scenes from Thai literature.

Thai League 2 ไทยลีก 2, commonly known as the T2. It was originally known as Thai Division 1 League. It is the second-tier professional league in the Thai football league system.

Seasons typically run from August to May, with each team playing 34 games; two against each other team, one home and one away. It is sponsored by Muang Thai Life Assurance and Muang Thai Insurance and therefore officially known as the Muang Thai League.

Wat Prasat วัดปราศาท

Wat Prasat or the Monastery of the Castle is located off the city island in the northern
area of Ayutthaya in Khlong Sra Bua area.

The monastery was situated in between Wat Phraya Maen and Wat Jong Krom in an
area called Thung Khwan. Wat Prasat stood northwest and adjacent to Wat Jong
Krom. It is only accessible by a dirt road just to the west of this temple. It’s also in a low area that is prone to flooding so it may be inaccessible during the rainy season.

The site, which is roughly 140 meters long on 100 meters wide, has been excavated in
2016 by the Fine Arts Department. Different monastic structures were unearthed in situ.

There are other temples in and around Ayutthaya bearing the same name this this one being the largest.

Its historical background and period of construction are unknown and most of the ruins were in poor shape prior to restoration with functions and era of building being unknown.

The country's largest auto show is back at IMPACT Challenger Hall in Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi province.

The 46th Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS 2025) is scheduled to take place from March 26 to April 6, 2025, with the theme "The Talk of Sensuous Automotive," focusing on the emotional connection between drivers and vehicles.

The event will showcase a range of electric vehicles and feature various activities such as EV test drives and industry talks.

It will be held at IMPACT Exhibition Center in Pak Kret, Thailand, with public days running from Wednesday, March 26, to Sunday, April 6, 2025. Weekends will be open from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, while weekdays will be open from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
