Bangkok is a busy city with noise and traffic 24/7. If you travel a short distance to the west the city is replaced with canals that crisscross the area. Life is completely different for the people living along the canals and waterways compared to the city dwellers living next to the BTS or expressway. Rural life moves at a different pace and has a uniqueness not found anywhere else.
