Pranburi Forest Park and Nature Reserve

Founded in 1982 under the majesty of Queen Sirikit, Pranburi Forest Park is located 25 km. south of Hua Hin and encompasses over 3.17 sq. km. of protected land. The park is known for its vast and dense forests of mangroves and twisty trails that lead visitors to all corners of the park. With its pristine views and natural beauty, Pranburi Park is the perfect escape from some of the urban centers in southern Thailand.

The nature reserve is an excellent day excursion from the Hua Hin area and the best part is it’s free to enter. Not only will you be surrounded by the tranquil and majestic scenery, but you’ll also get to see an abundant array of flora and wildlife, many of which are exclusive to Thailand.

The Mangrove Nature Trail is a raised wooden trail that allows visitors to trek above and round the salt water pools of Pranburi Park, all while staying cool under the shady mangrove trees. The journey along the trail lasts about one hour and takes you into the heart of the forest where...

Swayambhu Mahachaitya Temple स्वयम्भू स्तूप - UNESCO World Heritage - Kathmandu Nepal 2025

Swayambhu Mahachaitya स्वयम्भू स्तूप (also known as Swayambu or Swoyambhu) is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city.

The Tibetan name for the site means 'Sublime Trees', for the many varieties of trees found on the hill.

For the Buddhist Newars, in whose mythological history and origin myth as well as day-to-day religious practice Swayambhu occupies a central position, it is the most sacred among Buddhist pilgrimage sites. For Tibetans and followers of Tibetan Buddhism, it is second only to Boudha. Swayambhu is the Sanskrit name.

The complex consists of a stupa, a variety of shrines and temples, some dating back to the Licchavi period. A Tibetan monastery, museum and library are more recent additions. The stupa has Buddha's eyes and eyebrows painted on. Between them, the number one (in Nepal script) is painted in the fashion of a nose.

Swayambhu is among the oldest religious sites in Nepal. According to the ...

Green Vintage Ratchayothin Night Market and Art Market - Bangkok Thailand 2025

Located at the intersection of Phanyothin Road and Ratchadapesek in the northern district of Chatuchak, is one of Bangkok’s unknown night markets. The grand opening of April 8th, 2023 was the start of this night market next to the elephant building.

It consists of two sections. The outer section is set up with a flea market atmosphere. It features vintage products, clothing, toys and pretty much anything else. The inner section features new clothing, accessories and 2 rows of food. It’s open each evening from 4 to midnight.

It’s easily accessible by the light green Sukumvit BTS line by either the Ratchiotin or Phanyothin 24 stations.

The market has lots of space to grow and still has many stalls for new vendors. It has contracted in size since the grand opening but it looks like the management is working hard to grow the market.

Port FC vs Muang Thong United - Crosstown Rivals - March 9th, 2025 - Away Fans Back After 9 Years

Muang Thong United hosts Port FC in a battle at the Thunderdome Stadium in Muang Thong Thani. Muang Thong sits in 6th place, 1 point behind Port currently in 5th, in Thailands top league. This is a very important game for both teams for final season standings. The winner has a chance to finish in the top 3 for next year tournament invitations while the other will be on the outside looking in.

As always the Port fans came out in force to support their team. Facing a team that has the bad blood and animosity from close games over the years makes this a game that can’t be missed.

This is also the first time in 9 years that Port fans have been allowed back into the Thunderdome Stadium after some issues between groups of super fans. Port allowed them to come last year and also the game in the first leg of this season.

The expectations for both teams is a win and we were rewarded with a great game with chances on both ends.
