A great activity to see the wonderful island of Koh Kut is to explore it by canoe. Behind the islands most popular beach is a long river called the Klong Chao. It is lined with a beautiful mangrove forest. With almost no current you can relax and paddle up and down from the beach to almost the Klong Chao waterfall. You can see birds and fish along the way. It’s a bit too deep in the main channel to see crabs or other animals but it’s still a nice relaxing way to spend a morning or evening, away from the heat of the day.
A popular activity is to canoe the river up to the beach in the evening so you can see the sunsets from the beautiful white sand beach. It faces west so you will be treated to some of the best sunsets anywhere.

Enjoy Thai street food like som tam, grilled skewers, and traditional desserts, or sip coffee at canal-side spots like Siyaek Hua Takhe Cafe. Many dishes reflect Mon culinary influences.
