Agrasen Ki Baoli: A Historical Stepwell in Delhi
Agrasen Ki Baoli is a 60-meter long and 15-meter wide historical stepwell located in New Delhi, India. It is believed to have been built sometime during the Mahabharata era, although there are no concrete records to prove this. The stepwell is an ancient water reservoir that stands with an assorted mosaic of 103 step stones.
Architecture and Design
The Agrasen Ki Baoli Stepwell is an excellent example of Indian architecture, showcasing a blend of ancient and medieval styles. The stepwell is built in the Indian style, with a series of arched cells on either side, similar to other step-wells in the region. The steps lead down to a water reservoir, which is now stagnant and filthy.

Wat Singharam, known as the Monastery of the Lion, is a restored ruin situated on Ayutthaya’s city island. It stands on the grounds of what is now Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University.
