Prasat Changpee is located at Ban Changpee, Tambon Changpee, Amphoe Sikhoraphum, Surin.
It is a Mahayana Buddhist temple with a simple tower and a rectangular building set inside a stone enclosure.
There is a square pond located to the northeast.
The temple or Arokayasala served as a medical station built by order of King Jayaraman VII (1181-1218). During his reign, 102 medical stations were built across the empire.
The presence of this temple along with other ruins in the area shows it was an important settlement to the Khmer.
The site has been restored a great deal. The top of the center building is missing but it’s still an interesting site to visit if you enjoy seeing these types of buildings.
