The Royal Barge Procession is a special event held on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. The tradition dates back centuries to when Ayutthaya was the capital of what was known as Siam. The most recent Royal Barge Procession took place in 2019 for the coronation of King Rama X, the current monarch. This year’s event was in honor of the King’s 72nd birthday, a significant milestone in Thai culture because it completes a 12-year cycle.

The ceremony temporarily ceased in the 1930s but was restored in the 1950s during the reign of King Rama IX. During the Second World War many of the boats were damaged or destroyed and they were restored by the former king in order to continue this tradition.
The personnel in the ceremony are all sailors from the Royal Thai Navy. Being selected for the Royal Barge Procession is an incredible ...
Port FC hosts crosstown rivals, Muang Thong United in a battle at PAT Stadium in Khlong Toei. Muang Thong sits in 9th place with 2 games in hand in Thailands top league. Port sits in second place, 2 points behind Buriram, with 2 straight wins.
As always the atmosphere at PAT Stadium is lively but it’s crazy vs crosstown rivals Muang Thong United. Facing a team that has the bad blood and animosity from close games over the years makes this a game that can’t be missed.
The expectations for both teams is a win and we were rewarded with a great game with chances on both ends.

The present name was established in Roman times as Vivatia, then Biatia by the Visigoths, Bayyasa by the Moors from the 8th century onwards; until it became Baeza.
It is now principally famed for having some of the best-preserved examples of Italian Renaissance architecture in Spain. Along with neighbouring Úbeda, it was added to UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites in 2003.
The sixteenth century was the golden era of Baeza (and nearby Úbeda).
